Please read: southerngirlwriter is in the hospital
Many of you know southerngirlwriter, and although she is no longer participating on DU, she has many friends here, and she cares about them as we care about her. I thought all of you should know what I learned tonight.

I received news from a friend of hers that SGW collapsed on the stairs outside her home for as of yet unknown reasons, and is in the hospital with a broken elbow and a concussion.

Please send all good thoughts, vibes, prayers, meditations or whatever good will you are able her way.

She is without health insurance (thanks Chimp), and although this is terrible news, she should be okay, and home by Saturday.

SGW is one of my favorite people here ... what good vibes I am capable of raising are definitely sent her way. I am particularly concerned that she just collapsed for undetermined reasons.

I wish her a speedy recovery, and hope also that she reconsiders her departure from DU. (That was news to me. Disappointing news. She was one of the more cool, cogent and articulate people around.)

She was/is one of the most positive people on the boards, yet has a wonderful sense of humor and a great wit.

I hav NO idea whatsoever how this could be done, but I know it has been in the past.
