does anyone own a hyndai?
Am thinking of getting one. I've heard that their quality has really improved, and they are far less expensive than a toyota or honda since you arent buying a name.
If anyone has owned one for over 2 years pls send me your opinion.thanks

1. I have one
I don't know much about cars but I've had my elantra for 2 1/2 years now and love it. It rides great and i've never had any problems with it. It's also the perfect size for me b/c i hate driving big cars.

2. Hyundai is great.....now
Yeah, they had their problems in the past, but they are solidly built nowadays.

I don't drive one, but I do know a couple of people who do, and I'm impressed with how far that company has come. I actually really want the Tiburon GT.....180hp V6, oh baby.

3. I thought about buying a Tiburon.
They were fun to drive, I'll admit. Just a tad bit small and (no offense) juvenile. Nice reliable cars, though. I just wanted something .... different. Ended up with a slightly-used 2000 Mercury Cougar coupe, and I love it. Aside from a $75 electrical problem, I'm satisfied. It looks good, drives great, and generally kicks ass.

5. Go with Honda if you can
I only trust my own empirical evidence and anecdotal evidence from Hyundai owners in the past not what JD Powers says.
