my first and most natural reaction is to say 'fuck it' and go to prison to make a point... but then again, after i thought about it for a few minutes...

if it looks like im gonna get drafted... id show up at the air force recruiter's office and sign up in the engineering dept. or become a jet mechanic or something, id wanna pilot them but since my eyes are bad i know they wouldnt let me... so id be stuck fixing em. but that way, sure id be in longer, but when i got out(depending on how long i stayed) i would possibly have a retirement pention. and at the very least a marketable skill in the job market or something.

anyway... thats my draft plan, i know no one asked and no one cares, but still lol.

and yea, ive thought of the suicide before serving option... and if it they were gonna send me to iraq... thats probably the route id take.

it depends on if it was a legitimate war. i wouldnt object to taking part in a legitimate war, problem is we havent had a justified one (excluding 9-11) since WW2. but war for oil and money? fuck that shit... id do what those monks did to protest during the vietnam war.

If they don't give me a medical deferment, I will ask members of the draft board to shoot me right there. If that doesn't convince them I am MENTALLY unfit to serve, I don't know what will--I will make it very clear that I will kill myself before I serve in bu$h*'s giant Money Grab.

This country has lost its last shred of honor under bu$h*. I would rather martyr myself protesting bu$h* (in a manner becoming ancient Japanese culture) than martyr myself for a dishonorable cause. At least then I would have some honor.

I have been sick all week, fever, body aches, coughing, sneezing. I was unable to sleep last night and had to take a nap after work. I have decided that I am going to stay up all night. If that is the way my body wants it, that's what it will get.

I am watching the replay of the Flyers/Maple Leafs game. I didn't know Toronto won, but I am going to watch it anyway. Go Leafs!

And she keeps kicking away her covers. And, during the day, she always finda a way to (1) jettison her shoes, (2) play with water, or (3), open the refrigerator door to stare at its inside. If we're not vigilant, she'll do all 3 simultaneously.

And the clothes store my wife works at decided to flaunt the NATIONAL HOLIDAY and demand everybody shows to work. Yes, I already files a complaint to the Ministry of Labor. Let's see if they do something.

It's not even 2am yet and I have 6 more hours to go and Star Trek Voyager is boring...!
