fifteen years ago, I would have agreed readily.

But now, I can't pick any one person to be BadAss Guitar God of Life - it would take maybe 5 or 10 of them. All different, but all equally godlike.

But as you say, Page is totally Jesus-cool.

3. The fact that he is still alive...

After the condition he was in, at the end of Led Zeppelin, is a testimony to the man's toughness.

He was, perhaps, the single most drug-wrecked-and standing(sometimes) person I have ever seen, and I have seen a few.

Too many of their songs are kind of sophmoric. But they do have some of the best damn guitar riffs I have ever heard. I guess that's Jimmy Page's work.
