Is this site legit?

The site www.democratradio.com requests donations to stop right-wing control of the media, it has links to the Kerry campaign, Air America and DU but it doesn't sound right to me. It also bothers me that it's "Democrat" radio and not "Democratic."

shows the domain name registration is a private registration. The owner of the domain does not want his/her identity known.

I sent the site an email to find out where donations go. It could be a good site and the owner just wants to stay private. It just didn't seem right to me but I could be overly suspicious.

and Democratic can mean more than the Democratic party.
