I just 'garbage-disposed' an enormous bumble bee, and I feel guilty
:wtf:

I tried to save it, I've seen it all over the house slowly crawling along running out of steam, then I looked down while washing dishes an it was on my shirt. It was about as big as the last knuckle on my thumb, so I swatted it off. As it spiralled towards the drain I tried to catch it with an upsidedown glass, but missed. Then poof, he was gone. So to make it quick I filled a huge bowl with water then dumped it all in and flipped the switch for a good minute.

I am one of Uncle Sam's Ministers of Death and I'm remorseful over a bee. *sigh*

1. Why do you feel bad about it?
I kill bees all the time. Of course, I may be allergic to their sting...

3. I dunno, perhaps it's all the times I'd seen it.
Coming face to face with it in the bathroom after a shower, seeing it dragging itself across the floor slowly. Hell, I probably did it a favor.

Weird.

4. You're either with the Bee
or against the Bee.
Don't feel bad, those things are as big as small birds and they probably have terrorist tendencies.

13. We are gathered here today ...
to pay final respects to our honored dead. But it should be noted that this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new world; a world that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish. He did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate his profound wisdom at these proceedings.

Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... finely ground.

14. I killed a bee two days ago
(At least I thought I did.) I threw it in the garbage and then found him alive again. I could not quell that bee's determination and I was going to set him free outside, but then realized he couldn't fly because I had broken his wings. I then very sadly had to do a mercy kill on the little guy because a bee who can't fly can't be a happy bee. That made me sad too.

16. Ummm...I think I just killed a wee spider
with my car stereo, if that helps...:(

I just jumped in to run to the store, forgetting I'd been absolutely BLASTING Underworld - Juanita the last time I'd been in the car. I glanced over and saw a tiny spider dangling from the inside of the door frame by a thin web. It was scrambling downward and as soon as it got by the speaker it stopped moving. So I reached down to pick up the web, and it didn't move...I looked closely at it and it was balled up into a speck. I sorta carefully brushed off the web and the spider onto the dash; it never moved.

Perhaps 'e's just stunned. :D
