The whole thing looks like a mirror image of "league of extraordinary gentlemen", this the it's the "league of extraordinary villains".
The original "league" move sucked, not because of the appallingly bad cgi, but because of the very uninspired integration into a (lame) plot.
I'm almost sad that the movie will start in Europe at the same time as in the US - as with Matrix II and III, I'll have no advance warning about Helsing's quality (or lack thereof) .

10. I don't care what the critics say...I paid to see
Blair Witch 2 (ONLY because one of my friends wanted to see it) and it SUCKED big time. NOTHING can be THAT bad. It was so bad that my friend said, "please discourage me in the strongest possible way if I say let's go see anything with the words Blair Witch in the title."

Van Helsing is not going to be LOTR but can it be as bad as Blair Witch 2? I don't think so, after all it has Dracula!

14. Oh hell yeah!
Saw the preview a couple of weeks ago when I saw Kill Bill volume 2. Looks like mindless fun. And Hugh Jackman is a hottie. :)
