Is your backyard like mine?
Give you three guesses what all the yellow is, and the first 7 don't count. :D

3. With a backyard that big
I don't blame ya. I'd dig the "natural look" too.

4. Yours is a lot better than mine
Weeds, weeds, weeds. Why won't the snails eat the weeds?

5. ok I'm jealous
Years ago I got on a kick of making dandelion tea from dandelion roots. In a short time, I had no more dandelions and have never been able to re-stablish them -- it has probably been 8 or 10 years now.

7. Nothing wrong with dandelions
They're really cool looking, especially in your expansive yard. Stop dandelion bigotry now!

My dog loves them, in both the yellow and puffy form. I get pissed every time the grounds crew mows them over.

8. Me too
Yes I specialize in dandilions as well as hymalayian blackberries. I have been thinking about renting a goat to clear some of those away. Does anyone have any experience with goats as weed control?

9. My back yard is not so lovely as yours
It's a real jungle -- Ferns, unpruned rhododendrons, many tall & unidentified weeds, and under all that, guerilla piles of dog shit, just waiting for an unsuspecting person to put their foot down without looking.

Actually, lest you be too disgusted, I am going out today to yank weeds and scoop poop.

10. My favorite flowers!
What I love most is when they turn to seed, and transform the backyard into a veritable fairyland of fluff!

You're my kind of groundskeeper, Archae! :yourock:
