6. Go Flames!
It would be nice to see someone different in the finals. It would also be great to not allow Detroit to buy another cup. In an All star team vs one star team situation I'm all for the underdog.

8. buy another kimosabe?
methinks not. They may have a high payroll and more than a share of journeyman stars, but they also have a great organization and recruiting.

Talk about trying to buy cups see Toronto, Colorado, New York etc.

15. They are in the same boat as those you mentioned.
Don't even act like this isn't a bought team of stars because it is.

18. Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Schneider, Lidstrom, Yzerman etc would disagree
but they do bring in a fair amount of stars from the outside, that's certainly true

9. This has been a brilliant game
There is nothing better than playoff hockey, and that second half of the thrid period was amazing. They went 4 minutes wihtout a whistle, up and donw the ice, pucks flying at the golatenders from all angles.

This has been a fantastic game.

24. Wow.
Just... Wow.

Great game by both teams. Detroit played great hockey, very skilled and creating chances out of thin air. They were sloppy in their own end though, which is forgiveable if they score a lot of goals, but they couldn't solve The Kippur.

And Calgary deserved this win very much. They have great fans, and now their hard work is paying off.
