I want a genetically altered mini elephant, or giraffe
I want science to make available, very small, but fully grown african animals as pets. elephants no more than 3 feet tall, giraffes too. tiny, tiny little hippos in your back yard pool!
little bitty lions and tigers, the size of small housecats, leaping about and roaring cutely with your kids! sperm whales in your aquarium only a foot long! thar she blows!

and now my question: if they can make tiny little rhinos and tiny little wildebeasts, then why can't they make me a little fully grown woman about 3 feet tall? i'm a reasonable man, and i don't think i'm asking too much here.

1. Why a 3 foot tall woman?
I understand the rest. And don't they "make" these (i.e. little people)?

(I do not know the PC term for "little people", so I mean no offense)

5. Mini Mastedons were found on an island
in the Bering sea. They were the last living examples of the wooly mammouth albeit in miniature just several thousand years ago.

6. There are miniature Bulls and horses.
The horses were originally bred to pull carts in mining operations. Then the process was continued to make them pets. I've heard they are cute.

There are also miniature bulls. My sister saw it at a rodeo she and her husband attended. (He's a cowboy who used to work rodeos.) The bulls head was about knee height, and no one, and I mean NO ONE would go inside it's little corral. It was about the nastiest, meanest little creature she'd ever seen. Apparently all the orneriness of a full sized bull concentrated into a smaller sized package.

Breeding for a single trait, like size, is often a flakey business. The other traits tend to get a little loopy.

9. I want a peppermint-striped mini-sabertooth!
As featured in Alexis Rockman's "Pet Store".

The painting was featured in Wire Magazine's profile of the artist--details showed up much better on the magazine page.

10. I swear, mopaul, you always ruin my electronics
When I read "why can't they make me a little fully grown woman about 3 feet tall? i'm a reasonable man" I spit Orange Juice all over my keyboard and monitor.

That line came out of nowhere, and made me laugh my ass off.
