i ain't kiddin', i guess i ain't wired right or something, but i find strippers and exotic dancers too boring for words.

i worked in a 'tittie bar' for about 6 months in the early 80's, as a d.j. and it was a thrill for about 10 minutes, then, it's just another nekked girl up there grinding around, bored out of her head, while fat old weirdos leer and drool. ick.

a lot of these sad jerks actually think that some of the girls are flirting with them in earnest. i know that all the girls want, is the paper money. they don't look for the antonio banderases in the crowd, they look for the little fat guys in the suits, from out of town on convention. they can spot the money instantly.

and the girls can be quite vicious too. especially to one another. some would pay me big bucks to hold their bank, so the others wouldn't steal it. some were flagrant whores, operating right out of the club. i know, they'd give me money to take them to hotels and pick them up.

but they only like the big biker guys, who have all the coke and meth. many have families too, kids and all. some are married to swell men, some are great women, but most seemed to be weirdos.

met quite a few male erotic dancers too, and those guys are 100 times more obnoxious than the women. total dumbasses, every one.

and when buddies say, let's go to a titty bar, i always go home.
nothing bores me more, and nothing excites me less than a gorgeous woman, writhing around on the floor in front of strangers. i guess i'm weird.

Strip club owners asking patrons to vote



Patrons at about 75 Wisconsin strip clubs are being asked to forget about the barely dressed, gyrating dancers long enough to register to vote. Club owners are posting signs, handing out forms and even providing envelopes and stamps - anything to get customers to register. And some club-goers are listening.

Strip clubs don't do anything for me. I find the experience to be degrading for both men and women. And guys go there and shell out all that money for nothing but a peek. It's a sham and a shame.

I find strip-clubs fantastically dull too. Now my girl dancing for me, that's a different issue... ;)

Most other nations are aware of this. This is why they do not have the taboos against nudity we do. You see, it is that which we are not familiar with but like that we obsess on. What you become familiar with does not excite you as that which you crave to know more about.

Friend's bachelor party - they all had a hell of a good time, I found it awful. I wasn't offended (except aesthetically), I just found it really, really boring. I didn't get the excitement over paying a woman to "lap dance" (though I never had one, and still don't actually know what it means), or to put a dollar between her boobs or in her g-string. But mostly, I think what bothered me was that the "dancing" was SO GOD-AWFUL. It was neither good dancing, nor even, at a minimum, erotic in any way. "Oh, look, I'm humping the pole now...okay, here I am not quite taking my top off, now it's down, now it's up, now it's down, and .... there! It's off!! WOO HOO!" and most of it not actually done in rhythm of the music, nor with much artistry.

And when we had strippers at my fraternity I found them boring as well, though we had one who was quite nice (friendly, good demeanor, I mean) who gave me the cutest smile and little giggle that I still remember and probably always will. But she wasn't erotic, enticing, or interesting either.

but so what? You don't go to a Strip Club for reality. You go for fantasy and I do agree that anyone who believes a stripper is actually flirting with them needs to have their head examined (although, as you said, there are exceptions, but only if you're a biker or thug, usually).

But if you just go to enjoy female beauty in a raunchy setting (oh God, I can feel the flames from here!), then I don;t see anything wrong with it.

It is what it is. It's fantasy. Go there looking for reality and you may find yourself in trouble and almost certainly out a wad of cash.

But taken for what they are, I have always found those places fun and the women are there by choice.

The whole titilation and porn things leave me cold. I don't know what's erotic about watching other people have sex, and i don't know what's erotic about watching a woman you're never going to meet, dancing naked.

Now, a naked wife in my house, is a completely different matter.

I'm married now but even when I wasn't I couldn't see going. There are a lot of good ones around here too like Sugars, the Yellow Rose, The Red Rose in South Austin, The landing Strip, and some all nude ones that charge 20 bucks cover and you BYOB. They would always try and get me to go when I worked at IBM. They couldn't understand why I didn't want to go. I explained it to them like this: Why would I want to spend 4 bucks a beer and, chance a DWI on the way home, have some girl hustle me for 9 dollar cokes for her, pay for a lap dance and just get horny when I know this girl only wants money ? Some of the people I used to work with would go and spend 200 dollars in one night at the place and leave alone. They see it differently than me. That's them, I'm me.

A bunch of my girl friends and I dressed up in suits and went to the classiest strip joint in town. We had an awesome time. Though I haven't been back for a long time, my sisters want to make a night out of it one time, Jen's girlfriend just doesn't like the idea.

I always ALWAYS avoided them, then one night I was in Nanaimo for my buddies birthday - we where at the bar and of course the whole "Let's go to the peelers!" thing came up.

I didn't want to go, but had no choice. So I went, they arrived there a few minutes before me and when I walked in they were all sitting in "gyno-row."

I just thought "fuck."

Barge Capsizes Approaching Nude Beach

The people who go to strip clubs, or who gawk at people on nude beaches, are usually freakier than the people who are getting naked.

During my college years, I'd go to strip clubs with friends. So boring. Only once was there a woman who really danced, and danced well. But that was a fluke. Never saw anyone like that again. And my friends were always whooping and hollering. It was so embarrassing. Not to mention disrespectful to the women.

One quick comment though: A lot of people seem to entertain false notions of what going to one of these places is all about.

back in 1988, during a alcohol-crazed run from Morgantown, WV to Daytona Beach. The fellers I went to the club with were really enjoying it, but I was laughing the whole time. The strippers kept trying to work me by asking what I do, where I'm from and all that. I kept laughing, and the strippers started getting annoyed. By that point I noticed what I thought was the club owner (a tall, skinny guy complete with a scar on his face and an eye-patch) taking notice of my amusement and I suggested we leave before things got ugly.

Strip clubs, I just don't see it. I support women and men who feel thats the best way to earn some cash, that's their business. I just choose not to spend my money there as I get absolutely nothing out of it. I'd rather spend the time getting to know a woman so I can be physically, as well as visually intimate.

Call me weird, but a decently sculpted female body will almost always be pleasing to my eye. The last few times I've been to a strip joint with friends I've had a rather good time playing right back with the strippers' heads. So I'm usually the one with money left after a group goes out to strip joints.
