Al Franken's "Mastication Theater"
is the stupidest comedy set piece on radio.

That is all.

3. Something's still off on the Oy Oy Oy show
...he needs to get the timing better... like starting the oy oy oy just before she finishes speaking. As it is, there's a little pause before he does it, and it sounds too staged.

6. Sorry to say this is typical of Al's humor
Want to see what went wrong with SNL? Look to Al. Al is the master of the one joke sketch. Of course when you say master you mean thats all he has in his bag of tricks. He will do the same joke over and over again until someone laughs or dies (with appologies to the Joker). He doesn't have a sense of how his humor appeals to others. It may tickle his funny bone and a few others but its dead to most. He even was asking the audience a while back if the Lies thing was bugging people or not. He just doesn't get it.

Glad to have ya on the team Al. But could you leave the humor to the professionals.... what? huh... you mean he....Crud... we're doomed....

2. Its certainly up there.......
I don't get it. Is there deeper significance, or is it just plain stupid? At least the Oy yoi yoi show's on now.

4. Yeah, it's pretty bad.
I like the rest of the show, tho.

5. at least that bit is short (though nowhere near short enough)
and I like the rest of the show too. I wish he'd take a few more calls from regular viewers.

Still, that's not really a complaint. I LOVE that he has good guests and gets into detail.

7. Still Not Funny
Franken has never been funny, just annoying. Love his politics but his "huomor" escapes me. Air America needs a liberal Denis Leary type.
