Who was your first crush?
Mine was Scott, a dear friend of mine who was the first person I came out to.

1. Mine was a professor at college

That was my first MAJOR crush and the one that brought me into the light... I was a late bloomer, or just didn't see anyone I liked in my small town in texas :)

On edit... sadly, the aforementioned crush was never consummated. :)

I moved on quickly.

I know, pretty weird :)

I was ten years old and Dr. Ivey was sooooo dreamy. Only time in my life I looked forward to going to the dentist.

I was in the 2nd grade and he was in the 6th. My two girl cousins were ga-ga over him and so was I. He was friends with my cousins and he hung out with our group of friends.

Blond hair, blue eyes and buff (as much as a 6th grader could be). One time all of us were hanging out goofing off and he picked me and put on his shoulders. I almost passed out.

4. Fourth Grade... Mike Clark
When all the other parents made the boys wear "normal" haircuts... Mike's parents were the only ones who let him have long "hippie" hair.

5. My accordian teacher.
I was 9. She was a beautiful talented young woman who resembled Mrs. Peel, right down to the mod clothes.

I remember she had a photo of herself dancing in a Go-Go cage (anyone remember those?) wearing a mini-skirt and Go-Go boots.

I only wish I could remember her name. Wouldn't it be something if she posted on DU?

8. 8th grade - a girl named Laura.
Asked her to the 8th grade formal dance - AND SHE SAID YES! Had my cooool jacket and tie, and some nifty platform shoes. We went out for pizza afterwards. Didn't kiss her though - I thought nice girls don't kiss on the first date.

D'oh! Wish I had that to do over...

42. I don't feel that way
Deborah was cute for her day and a nice artist to admire. Now I don't like her as much as The Corr women, Bree Sharp, Jessica Jacobs, Michelle Branch, Cindy Alexander, Gwen Stefani, Lucy Woodward, and Sherrie Austin - but I still have a soft spot.

10. Mary---quite literally, the girl next door.
I fell in love with her at the age of four---if such a thing is possible.

At age twelve, she'd stay out in her backyard on summer nights and shot the basketball. After a month of pacing, I finally summoned the courage to go over and join her. She wore a red flower in her hair that night---or maybe my imagination has added that little detail...

Nothing ever came of our evening of hoops. We were too young. "And they called it....puppy loooove!" Thank you, Donny Osmond.

Actually, we're friends to this day. About a million years after that night, she told me she'd been waiting for me to come over. Sigh. What might have been, yeah?

14. Lorraine Saunders...in the 2nd grade...
We held hands all the time. She found a new beau when we moved to the 3rd grade. It broke my heart. She tried to get me back in the 4th grade, but I was infatuated with my teacher Miss Brenner, a former flight attendant. She was a babe. She must be in her sixties now, but she'll always be that twenty-something beauty to me.

...who played Ultraman. Not Ultraman himself, mind you. The human guy who'd turn into Ultraman. His name is something like Sumunu Korobe. I actually rented some episodes of Ultraman on video and I still think the guy is handsome although I now see that he is one of the worst actors ever.

Yep. When I was 12 or 13 years old Deborah Harry stirred something in my loins that had previous to that, never been stirred before.

I was madly in love with her. I thought she was gorgeous.

She may be older now but I still think she's gorgeous.

I know...what a name. I had the biggest crush on him from 1st grade all the way through 6th. I even invited him to my birthday party, but he didn't come. :( Ah...he was so dreamy. My crush dwindled when I reached Junior High and moved on to other boys. But occasionally I still wonder what he's doing...

sex with. We had a wild roller coaster romance for 6 months, then I accidentally placed her on a tack and she deflated. I still judge all other girlfriends by her-- most aren't nearly as flexible or understanding of my needs.

41. A student teacher when I was in fifth grade.
I can't remember her name, but I was instantly smitten with her. I'll never forget one day during recess: She was wearing a white linen dress. The wind was blowing it around a little bit and the sun was behind her, so I could make out the outline of her body. I'll remember that image as long as I live. I believe it was at that exact moment that I gained a real appreciation for the curves of a woman's body.

<sigh>

Same age, same target of my infatuation. Miss Stefanski was the name. Probably not her name anymore. Just something about her that awakened the early puberty interests.

Go figure!
