What annoys you the most about other drivers?

...the out of state plates...simply because they don't know where they are going...and they scare all the old people.

I really hate tailgating. I also hate it when people are going far faster than anyone could conceivably need to go.

One time, my grandmother was driving home from work, and this asshole literally drove right into her (slowly) and *pushed her car from behind* with his.

that don't follow the rules of the road. They whizz through stop signs, try to run you down when you are a pedestrian, and intimidate you in general. The idea is that since they have a big truck, they can do whatever they want. Rather juvenile, but really annoying (and dangerous!) as well.

--Drivers who do not use their turn signals (practically everyone in Boston)
--Drivers who do U-Turns in big cars on a busy street and have to keep maneuvering to reverse direction
--Drivers who dope when the light turns green
--Drivers who tailgate
--Drivers who slow down for green lights

there are a lot of visitors who:
- aren't familiar with the roads,
- aren't familiar with the (rental) car they are driving, and
- often do not speak or read English well.

They will freqently do a three lane shift at the last minute to exit an expressway, or drive really slowly.

BUT, you get used to it. And we love them...what the heck, this is a tourist community.

its not the tourists that piss me off. It's a) the OLD folks all out Driving Under the Influence of ALzheimers and B) people talking on the phone at 85 miles an hour who don't notice when they almost kill you.

the right lane is the fast lane (just try and merge or get off without someone honking at you)

the left lane is the slow lane

you can and will be tailgated in all lanes.

and all it takes is someone to get a headache
and 6 lanes of traffic will come to a dead stop.

You know what I mean, they leave like 12 or 15 feet between them and the car in front of them, so people behind them are either stuck in the intersection, or back at the last light.

Seattle is riddled with these people. I swear, no one here can drive.:grr:

to get in front of me. In fact - they'll run a stop sign at 40 mph to get in front of me. Then they'll poke along at 10 mph below the speed limit. Of course, at any stop signs, they won't run them - in fact, they won't go if there are any other cars visible on the horizon. I end up having to follow them almost all the way to where I'm going, at which time they make a right turn. But they don't just make a right turn - they come to a dead stop, turn on their blinker, look right and left several times, pull out a map and read it, fiddle with the radio trying to find a better station, etc... Finally they finish their turn and get out of my way. Then I get behind them on the way back, too....

Remember, I was in a car accident this afternoon.

Also when people are putting on makeup, eating, talking on cell phone and not paying attention. However, I am guility of two of those things sometimes.

As long as they're not behind the wheel.

at traffic lights. It irritates me most, because it interferes with my ability to safely make a right turn on red.

Irritates me so much I catch myself wishing theyd get smashed. (I know its wrong, but doing that enrages me for some reason).

People who blow their horn .75 seconds after the light turns green, in which case I usually sit there for ALOT longer.

Anyone who tailgates me I will slow down to a crawl so that it is safe forseperation the tailgater gives, usually they will pass.
