1. Dali
Escher was a great draftsman and artist, but he didn't delve into the unconscious mind to the extent of Dali.

2. Um, I can't choose between the two?
I have some of each's artwork... Escher for the funky things he does with perception, and Dali for the funky stuff he does with the mind (and I suppose, perception to some extent- Reflections of Elephants comes to mind...)

I didn't vote, because both wasn't an option :P
