11. Twin Tone Records!
I was surfing their site today, and it made me nostalgic for my college days, when I could go into a bar and see Soul Asylum, The Replacements, Hüsker Dü, The Magnolias, The Blue Hippos, Trip Shakespeare, and any number of other wonderful bands.

Anyone ever been to the CC Club?

Whenever my band played the Entry or the 1st Ave (or Uptown or Lee's Liquor), we'd always go to the CC Club for bloody marys in the morning. Ah, the halcyon days of youth...

Any state that produced Al Franken and Bob Dylan has earned its stripes.

Is Wellstone a Minnesota native? If so, more mad props...

Not to mention Post-It notes.

23. Love Minnesota, have only been there once for about two weeks to go
canoeing north of Ely at the Boy Scout camp, this was in '67 and I was 15.:) God, that was some of the most incredible landscapes I have ever seen. We didn't pack water, we drank the runoff from our paddles, it had tested that pure.
Didn't mean to wax nostalgic but some of my fondest memories are of that trip, and then there is the larger than life Sen. Paul Wellstone.

24. Minnesotans hate stadiums.
And they're completely fine with their NFL and MLB teams playing in a shithole, much unlike the attitude of every other major city in the country.
