Circular skewers
Edited on Fri May-07-04 07:52 AM by trof

"Four compelling arguments for the circular skewer: won t roll around on the grill fits neatly on a round plate less likely to jab you in the hand or wrist won t slide off the plate onto your brand new Bermudas. These skewers also merit an A+ for their fanciful curlicue design.7 1/2" Diameter fits most plates Non-stick steel Hand washing recommended."

Miz t. got a set of these for Mothers' Day.
Whaddaya think, gimmick or useful?

2. Interesting. Unusual.
Not your average skewer. If my host served me food on a skewer like this, I'd think it was pretty neat. I doubt I'd spring for them myself, but as a gift, I've seen worse.

3. That's pretty cool
I'd use... you know, if I wasn't an apartment dweller and could actually barbeque :eyes:

4. pretty, but you're not supposed to serve hot metal skewers
you are supposed to slide the food off so your guests don't burn themselves.

Also...since when do other skewers roll around on the grill?? Are people grilling on slopes or something?

But they are pretty.

If you have trouble turning food over when it's skewered (cuz it slips, and keeps the same side to the fire all the time) just put TWO (wooden even) skewers in parallel to each other. Then you can flip like a champ!
