YES!! only 15 minutes left!

My NPR station is 15 minutes away from ending it's Spring pledge drive! Sure I'm a contributer & all but these week long drives sure can get old.

I have been a consistent contributor, but the last straw was a piece they ran this week with some bozo going through an explanation for why Bush is a progressive and Kerry is a conservative.

The gist of it was that Bush is progressively changing the world with "progressive" action in the Middle East, and "progressive" economic policy. Kerry is a conservative because he is proposing traditional tax policies and foreign diplomacy that don't represent a change from the way things have always been done.

By these measures, Hitler was a progressive when he invaded Poland.
NPR can be intellectually dishonest if they want, but I get that crap for free on every other news media outlet, I don't need to send money to the Republican party to pay for their propaganda.
