OK, let's try this again. *Anyone* in the Northeast want two female cats?
My own mother has decided that she'd rather live with a Repuke than with her two furry roommates! They're a couple of weeks away from "outplacement" in a place with a dog (the kitty equivalent of a Repuke :-) ). Please help them. Almost anyplace in the Northeast would do (they're in NYC).

Oh, and one of them's a calico, so you won't have to bait those messy Asscroft traps anymore! :-)

The Cat Placement Network needs you. Must find a new home for Muumuu (Tuxedo) and Buddi (dark calico), who have been with me for 5+ years. They adore one another and are the world's best and easiest to care for cats-everyone says so! Both female, spayed, declawed and very healthy.
Ages @ 6 and 5. Perfect apartment cats - very happy with one another for periods of time. Buddi is bright-eyed, curious and loves everyone. Muumuu is comfortably plump, contented, purring, and is pure love.
CAT BOX, CARRIERS, TOYS, etc. included.
GUARANTEE: In accordance with the Cat Placement Network rules, if you seriously want to let Muumuu and Buddi into your life for a reasonable adjustment period and, for some reason, it does not work out - I'll take them back and re-place them.
No shelter for these cats - They belong in a loving home.

I'll tell you how to get hold of Mom via PM. Happy petting!

1. Indoor or Outdoor cats?
Edited on Tue Aug-19-03 01:13 PM by Caution
I'll ask around for you. I already have 2 of my own and not enough room for two more. I still think you should put your foot down and tell the man that the cats stay. period. If he loves you he will cave in. And don't buy that allergy BS. I'm severely allergic to cat dander. Bathe the cats once a month, keep them indoors and the allergies go away.

On Edit: I was your man at one point (though not a pug!). Anti-cat. After my girl came into the picture and insisted on cats I have never looked back. I'd sell my car to pay for an operation for one of those cats if it came to it. They are part of the family.

3. Indoor. And he's not even allergic.
They were declawed (by their previous human, who also threw them over for a man!); hence, indoor all the way.

Mr. Repuke is not even allergic. Pets are allowed in his building, too. Get this: He's worried about his antiques, as well as changing the box, etc. I could almost understand about the antiques except that he has a perfectly good weekend place (he's a rich Repuke!) where they could go.

If he loves you he will cave in

Believe you me, this would never happen to me! It is my Mom, who has been looking for a male human for some time, who finds herself in this predicament.

5. Ahhh bummer.
This dude needs to get a clue. Hasn't he ever heard the phrase "nimble as a cat" ???? Fer crissakes cats never knock anything over unless they mean to. and the Voice of Authority works very well to teach them where they can and cannot go. Well, I'll ask around. It really sounds like they should go to a home together which makes it very difficult. I wish I could take them myself.
