Thunder echoing in the mountains tonight (Arwalden?).
Edited on Sat May-08-04 09:02 PM by DemoTex
Jackson County (Cashiers), the next county west of Transylvania, was under a severe storm watch. The dogs are howling at the thunder. I might have to unplug computers, if the storms get closer. The ham radio antennae are already disconnected.

So far, this is the type of TSTM I love. Gentle rumbles of thunder, distant strobe-blue flashes, and cool air gushing over the ridge line. Anyone else in the mountains or Asheville?

2. The thunder is way off now. But I'm still getting 30-sec power outages.
Kind of a pain. Got the flashlights and candles out. The generator is full of petrol, too. Just in case.
