i feel so sorry for her.

the dumbass 'forgot' to call his mother yesterday. you would think at 18 he would take 5 minutes and pick up the fucking phone. this happens every year. no card, no call, no nothing.

think his stepmother reminds him? :eyes:

damn good thing we are flying out to AZ next week to 'celebrate' his graduation :eyes:

oh well, she will be depressed for the next few days and then get over it. we go through this every year.

punk.

3. cause he is never around
he in finally working and has school and otherwise is off with friends or sleeping to noon.

also with the 3 hour time difference it is difficult

these are not excuses but you would think that he would want to make the call. his father and step-mother obviously don't think it important enough to remind him either.

its just sad

4. I did the same thing.
The only thing my mom has done for me in the past 18 years is give birth to me. And that wasn't by choice.

6. That sucks
I can emphasize, I know what it's like, I can barely stand my dad. I want to move out but no money and no place to go so I don't really have a choice but live with her.

7. This sucks for her.
Some people, myself included, have an aversion to these "forced" celebrations, and prefer not to celebrate, or to expect anything from others on these days.

Just my humble opinion, as a daughter AND a Mom. (Although I did send my Mom a card when she was alive because I knew she wanted it....)

Anyway, to your wife.
