1. Hee hee
I'm not too sure. Pretty much everywhere i go and everything i encounter is saturated with polish-ness. The least polish thing i havent done is I've never eaten pierogi. I know , I know. Big shame.

7. I was born.
My dad was half Polish. I have been told by others of Polish descent that I look Polish. Also, several years ago, I donated eggs for infertile couples, and the first couple I helped chose me because of my Polish ancestry, and because I looked similar to them. (since most couples want to have a child that resembles them)

My dad used to collect Polack jokes. But reality often outshines fiction. The funniest Polack story I can think of is the ship that was to sail to the US for a big anniversary party for the Statue of Liberty... it got off-course and arrived something like a week late(?). I remember thinking, "Damned Poles... we keep living up to the jokes!"LOL

8. Mr. Nownow.
It's where my screenname comes from -- cold callers and restaurant hosts/hostesses who insist on trying to pronounce a long ethnic surname and then stuttering on it for fifteen seconds before completely obliterating the pronunciation. I have also been known to introduce myself as 'Mrs. long Polish surname' because people seem to get hung up on all the consonants.

9. Well....
One night some years back, I woke up to pee. However, my parents and I had just moved and I was still getting used to the layout of our new place. As a result, in my groggy state of mind, I made a wrong turn and pissed in the linen closet! :eyes:
