Republicans- the "Fuck you I got mine" party.
I think that one might work it's way into liberal America's vocab.

5. Excellent- another cannon cocker on board.
I don't claim to have coined that term but I do love to use it.

12. Excellent. Cedat Fortuna Peritis!
I was a Redleg a bit after that (1987-1992) during the Raygun and Bush I regimes.

2. Yeah... I've been saying that for a while now...
Really pisses me off too. I was just commenting last night to my wife that the 'pugs will take any advantage they can, and then turn around and moan about someone else using that advantage or figuring one out themselves.

Its as if they are insulted (and shocked! shocked!) that someone finds a way to "cheat the system" better than the 'pugs themselves.

"When someone's down on their luck, it's a lot harder to lend them a helping hand than it is to give them the finger."

I love that quote.

4. yes, but you left out some things
...and now you and your family have to help me get MORE. I can make you work 24/7 without health care, draft your teenagers, molest your children, put most of the tax burden on you while I get help from the government, despoil the environment where you live, use the Patriot Act to enforce a police state for my benefit, and laugh at how I am getting away with it all at my fabulous country club parties. Oh, and I can even illegally install a sick, retarded, evil monkey-man as President for psychological torture.

Bloodlust is insatiable and escalating. Greed is insatiable and escalating. Perversion is insatiable and escalating.

Rightwing Republicanism is a terminal addiction--terminal for humanity.

8. I've used the concept for a fairly good while
... perhaps a variation in the first few words ...

A campaign could use the 'I got mine' in a speech/ad ...

has *'s preaching compassionate conservativism really reaped any rewards, particularly major changes from the Investment/Board of Directors Class?

FDR wouldn't hold back ... Truman wouldn't ... Kennedy blasted Nixon ...

the Media and Special Interests have such a hold on our society, and its democratic principles; our daily life (economy) ... everything suffers from this "attitude" ~ "affluence"

11. I think this picture says it all.....
What kind of photo op is this? Bush is with a group of small children, and he's the only one with an ice cream cone? "Na-na-na-na-na-na...I got ice cream...you don't!"

13. You might want to add a racial slur to that as well
That would make it even more accurate.
