Favorite "Davey and Goliath" moment?

One of the Davey and Goliath DVDs has an episode titled "The New Skates," in which Davey (rather predictably) disobeys his mother by ice skating on a pond with thin ice. A jaunty Goliath joins in the fun by "skating" on all four paws, on various combinations of paws, and finally, on his rump, with his paws in the air.

And then it happens ... whether due to animator laziness or outright mischief, some of the brown crumbly stuff that Goliath's made of breaks off, leaving a trail of mysterious brown crud in his wake. For a moment, it appears that Goliath's rump-first approach to ice skating has knocked loose some dingleberries, or that Goliath has taken a dump on the ice. What a bad, sinful dog!

Or possibly the one where Goliath mauled Davey's mother.

You've got to cleanse the city Davey. I think it was called Davey Son of Goliath.

Oh wait, was a Mad TV animation. :evilgrin:

One of the Flanders kids refuses to watch the show because the idea of a talking dog is "blasphemous."

In another episode:

Ned Flanders, surprisingly, has found a cartoon that he can permit his children to watch. After all, "Gravey and Jobriath" is approved by the Council of Presbylutheran Ministers.

As we watch the cartoon, the animation style shifts to a dead ringer for the original "Davey and Goliath" Claymation. Jobriath walks up to Gravey, who's busy making something in the garage workshop.

Jobriath: Whatcha making there, Gravey?
Gravey: It's a pipe bomb, Jobriath. For to blow up Planned Parenthood.
Jobriath: I don't know, Gravey.
Gravey: I'm sick of your lack of faith. (lights the bomb and jams it into Jobriath's mouth)
Jobriath: (muffled) But Gravey!
(cut back to the "Simpsons" animation style, and to the Flanders flock. An explosion is heard)
Rod + Todd: Yay!

Such an obscure Glam-Rock reference. I swear that only a couple of thousand people on the planet have any idea of who Jobriath was. Here's some pics and a link to his fansite.
