W. is "thinking": "Wow. Have I got an idea for a campaign ad or what!!?? We set it in a cabinet meeting where they pan in on me and I say, like, 'The war in Iraq is a bust.' Then they shoot to Rummy who's got his head in his hands. Then it's back to me and I say, 'And we've destroyed alliances and friendships that have taken half a century to develop,' and they cut to Colin who's sobbing in the corner. Then I say, 'And everybody knows we've gutted the Constitution and destroyed civil liberties,' and they cut to John who's quietly going insane and making weird faces and stuff. Then I say, 'But I got some good news,' and everybody looks up, while I make a good long pause, and then I say the punchline, 'I saved on car insurance' . . . then they cue up the music! Man-oh-man, I think it's great!! It'll get people thinking AND show that I'm just a regular guy who can tell a good joke.
