The "Frasier" ending-what was it?
Edited on Fri May-14-04 10:56 AM by underpants
I hadn't seen the show in a while-still pretty good but I have a question about the ending.

We saw "Frasier" in first class talking to a very attractive woman and they are landing in Chicago. The woman wishes him "good luck". Now the story was that he was leaving Seattle to do a radio show in San Francisco, so what was he doing in Chicago?

Was he going to see the blonde woman (his latest romance) who had left Seattle for a job in Chicago?

Was he headed back to Boston to possibly try to patch things up with Lilith and be near his son?

-OR-

Was it a "Newhart" type ending where the last 11 years had not actually happened, we see him on his way to Seattle from Boston?

Why would someone eat tossed salad and scrambled eggs, or is that a sexual metaphor?

2. He went to Chicago to be with the woman...
And there's rumor that it's supposed to be the beginning of yet ANOTHER spinoff.

3. No, really?
Was the "registered Nurse" who delivered Niles and Daffney's baby his actual wife? LOTS of work done there.

5. I will do everything in my power to make sure that if there's a spinoff...
it will not be situated in Chicago. Mark my words, DU.

Frasier in Chicago. What a nightmare. If that happens, our fair city will be tainted forever. With no hope of recovery.

6. Frasier was a great show for about the first six years . . .
but it jumped the shark about the time Niles and Daphne got together . . . the past five years have been generally unfunny, as was the finale (though it did have a few moments) . . . they shoulda quit a long time ago . . . fortunately, we can still catch the early, funny shows in syndication . ..
