My car broke as I was driving it from the shop
They had just replaced a broken sway bar and something with the CV boots. As I was driving it out of the parking lot there was a horrendous CLUNK! I think the CV joint let go or something. SInce they had been working on that I'm hoping against hope that the mechanic left something off or didn't connect something he should have.

I can't afford more repairs to this car. Arghhhhhhhhhh I had just paid then $320! I'm sick over this.

2. I feel your pain.
I have spent so much money on car repairs in my lifetime, that I could probably support a third-world country.

3. I hate it when that happens
Crummy mechanics. I once had an engine rebuilt in a nifty 1964 Chevy panel truck. I drove it from the shop, it overheated, and blew up 20 minutes after I picked it up.

Lately, I've been using Pep Boys and have had good luck with them.

6. Yesterday I just had to spring
a $1088 to fix the AC in my 95 Chevy! That hurt. I hate AC, when I'd rather drive with the windows open, but as a northerner in south Florida I melt in the summer.

9. The AC on this car isn't worth fixing
But the engine is good even with 198,000 on it. I hate to spend too much on it.

I hope the Sox stop their losing streak tonight. :)
