Happy Birthday to dmr (Denise)

To my good friend Denise, a super-special happy birthday from your cyber-buddy and real life friend, Cher.

Not many at DU know this but in February I adopted a kitten that Denise and her son had found outside. In fact, Denise adopted the whole kitty family and found them homes, keeping one kitten, Eddie (with whom she is madly in love). I asked if I could have Greenlee and she agreed, saying she'd seen many of my posts about cats in The Meeting Room and The Lounge. I wanted Greenlee to be a friend/companion to my only kitty, Bitsey.

I drove from NJ to LI on Valentine's Day to get little Greenlee, who coincidentally has a spot in the shape of a heart on her fur!

Denise and I had a nice conversation at that time and since then have become even better friends, sharing our stories of the "kitty sisters" who are growing up in our respective households. I also got to meet Denise's son, Kevin, who is also a DU-er. They are both lovely people and consider myself so lucky to know them!

And a happy birthday to you, too EEK!

I just loggod on this (Monday 17th) morning and saw this super irthday thread.

How lovely!
I was away over the weekend; (new 'do/new year) and really, trying to get some messed-up stuff from the past couple of weeks (2 thefts, 2 investigations, 2 states. in each case very beloved and sentimental things were taken).

Howver it was a beautiful Spring weekend. Tulips, crabapple , ducklings, goslings warm-but-not-hot weather.

And I was in a super mood all weekend.
I KNOW it is due to getting plugged in to so many good vibes from Chosen Family both analog AND digiltal!!!!
