2. Done.
A displayed message is constructed on the fly (I'm guessing), so it would just pick up a current avatar reference.

Hell, I don't even view avatars, so winning doesn't have a lot of (potential) payback for me... I just had to stick up for the local boys.

4. What happens is
When you change your avatar, it's changed on all messages, past and present. Same with the sig file.

3. I heard that....
Once the Lakers made adjustments based on the first two games in San Antonio the Spurs seemed not to be able to adjust to anything else to counter.

Parker suddenly gets bucket shy and Timmy...well I have no idea what happened there!

Now it's anybody BUT the Lakers...
