1. I shave my armpits all the time,
but I only shave my legs in the summer. I have psoriasis that gets terrible in the winter and shaving only irritates it-so in the wintertime I'm as hairy as can be. It isn't that bad.

2. Shaving sucks
but the other options are worse and don't usually work. Sooooo. I'm off to shave.

3. Waxing
esp. on legs and bikini line. I'd love to get the laser hair removal done on my legs, but I need money for that.

4. hate shaving
I shave legs any time they are exposed - hose, shorts, skirts, etc.
Same with armpits - shave for tanktops and summer.

I shave for me, not for looks. The hair is much softer during winter and lighter colored.
Better question: which razor?
That intuition one tore me up!!

5. Don't shave, no plans to
If you can handle looking at hairy boys legs, you should be able to manage my hairy girls legs, especially since my hair isn't that dark.

Shaving my armpits only make those horrible little bumps, so I stoppped doing that. No, I keep myself clean - that keeps the odor down.

Shave or trim my mons veneris? Are you stupid, insane, or do you just hate women?!

6. Are you asking me?
I assume that was a rhetorical question! :-) I don't hate women, and I don't think I'm stupid or insane. I think it's bizarre to shave one's pubes -- though I am a firm believer in "to each one's own" (& can understand trimming for bikini season glamour.)

7. It's just about a certain kind of invented glamour IMO . . .
Silly, but still a personal decision, like how you want to dress.

I can't stand people who act like hair on women's legs is some kind of disgusting, repulsive thing. I think women should really get over that kind of self-hatred before they decide to shave. . .

 I applaud your decision.

8. Sexist thread
Where's the 'male option' on your poll?

I shave my legs, armpits, pubes but not my face!

;)

sorry :eyes: it's bad enough that so many women have bought into the shaving ritual, but a man? it grosses me out.

personally, i shave NOTHING, and could give less than a rat's ass what anybody thinks about it, summer or winter. look at it this way: women didn't shave until gillette pushed this idea on women in the 20-30's, and they've made a hell of a lot of money off of it.

i also like men who prefer the natural look...for both me and myself, and they ARE out there. hair (or lack of it) is natural.

*stepping off of my soapbox*

12. How about all of the above?
I shave the armpits, depiliatory cream for the legs, and well, process of elimination tells you what I do with the wax. ;-)

13. I shave even though I cut myself
For some reason, I cut myself significantly about once a week shaving when I shave regulaly, like in the summer. I tried Nair but it didn't completely work after the recommended time and I got paranoid that I'd get it in my head hair. I didn't like the smelll either. I've thought about wax but that sounds painful.

14. Try Epil-stop
It's available in most pharmacies now and isn't that much more expensive than Nair. Good stuff, no bad smell and very effective.
