Do you watch HBO's Deadwood?
I think it's the best show on tv right now.

2. No.
I don't get HBO in my room and refuse to venture out of it until I move from this humble abode into a more sane environment. Thanks for asking.

3. Not enough violence, sex, cursing or drug use.

Are they afraid of offending someone's sensibilities or something?

4. Best damn show on the tube.
I'm particularly intrigued by the marshall's wife & son being his sister in law & nephew. That was always a problem for me, how were they going to get the married marshall and the rich widow together when he was married?

9. That happened a lot back then
It even happened in my own family.. A distant relative came west to kansas in the 1860's and the father died in a fire on the farm, so the younger brother married the widow, and raised the kids.. They went on to have 4 or 5 more.. They kept the family property in the family, and since women were kind of scarce (nice women), it made sense.. They were married 40 some years before he died..

5. Superb in every way
Script, direction, acting -- it's an argument for buying HBO, even without the spectacular line up of The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Tracey Ullman, and boxing.

Paired with The Sopranos, Deadwood makes Sunday night a drama lesson for all the hacks in network TV.

10. I don't like westerns either, but you forget that it's a western
I had the first 3 hours on my PVR, and was about to delete them but decided at the last minute to watch episode one for the hell of it.. I was glued to the TV for 3 hours, and could not wait for episode #4..

You can almost smell them...:eyes:
