Will Durst on Gay Marriage
http://www.workingforchange.com/article.cfm?ItemID=16962

excerpt:

Anyway, I thought the whole idea was to keep gays from having sex. What better way than marriage do you know to accomplish that?

1. hey hey hey!
that is only if you are worn out by taking care of the kids! Marrriage does not equal celibacy, at least not most of the time! :)

2. I got to meet Will Durst
a few months back - he was at our county dinner after the precinct caucuses back in February, and I went up and talked to him for awhile. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't ask him if he wanted to go out for a beer; I'll bet money he'd have gone (the dinner was lame, like most political events). Or maybe it was my Impeach Bush button he was staring at, not where it was pinned. ;-)

I love Will Durst, and have for years. He's one of the funniest men alive. He did a bit of Bush as Rain Man that still makes me giggle.

3. You lucky person!
How I envy you your chance to meet Will Durst! He's wonderful.

One of our local PBS stations ran his program on working, "Livelyhood," and I rather wish they'd bring it back. I also enjoy his columns in the Progressive. He's one of our national treasures.
