For those who play President Forever, your most stunning victory?
Anyone else here play President Forever, the campaign simulation game from hotpotsoftware.com, and have an amazing victory they'd like to share?

I ask because this morning, I managed Jimmy Carter to an upset win over Reagan in the 1980 election scenario. The margin of victory was 4,700 votes in New Jersey. I won because about 3/4 of the way through, Reagan was hit by a huge scandal that dogged him the rest of the way, and my ads were consistently highly successful and very powerful.

Can anyone top that?

1. No, but I'm interested...
Is the expansion pack ('60 and '92) included in the $12 download?

This game sounds right up my alley... thanks, prayforsane!

3. yes, the paid version have them
It has 4 scenarios - 1960, 1980, 1992 and 2004. I've only played 2004 though. When I manage to beat Bush I always do it by winning Ohio :)

He steals Florida in 99% of the games, so I don't bother going with Florida at all...

2. let me check my biggest victory
309 electoral votes playing as a dem governonr from Ohio vs bush. Winning 51% of the vote.

Playing as Kerry - 274 electoral votes against Bush with 50% of the vote. VP was John Edwards. This game is way too much fun :)

4. Well, I Created a Candidate...
...and whooped SmirkBoy's ass 538-0 after becoming a "national hero."

It was the last time I took the game seriously, unfortunately... ;(

9. www.hotpotsoftware.com
Try the demo, then download the paid version if you enjoy it.

It reminded me a lot of "Defender Of The Crown" for some reason. :)

I finally managed to get Kerry to trounce *. And I came within four EV's of beating Reagan.
