Where do you ski?
Edited on Wed May-19-04 02:36 PM by Taverner
Now that ski season's over (except in places like Mammoth, Banff and Mt Hood) where do YOU like to ski?

Me? I'm a Kirkwood, Dodge Ridge (CA), Mt Bachelor (OR) kinda guy.

Kirkwood for nearby excellent skiing. Bachelor for the inlaw visits (they live in Eugene) and a chance to ski fluffy fluffy powder. Dodge Ridge for when I just want to fuck off all day (it's nicknamed "Slacker Hill".)

2. I went to college in Vermont and would rotate between
Stowe, Smugglers' Notch and Sugarbush. I liked Stowe the best.

I am in Illinois so now the only skiing I get to do is when I go to California to visit my dad. We go to Big Bear.

6. My dad has a cabin in Big Bear so it is convienient.
We can ski for awhile, go home for lunch and then go back and ski if we feel like it.

Maybe we will check it out next time we go. It is always fun to try a new place. A few years back we went to the Arizona Snowbowl and had a blast. That was a fun place to ski! I liked Flagstaff Arizona alot.

5. No skiing for me anymore
since I moved to Tennesee, but I used to ski a lot in PA. It wasn't very large, but it was still a nice way to spend the day. I've always wanted to go to the rockies to ski.
