Banderas gets weepy during screening of Shrek 2, holds Timberlake's hand
Shrek 2 all too much for Antonio
Last updated 19 May 2004

Antonio Banderas, who plays ogre killer Puss in Boots in the film, was apparently so moved when he was watching it at the festival that he ended up crying and holding hands with Justin Timberlake.

He says the romantic scene at the end of the film got to him, and then he looked at JT and he was sobbing too, so they held hands for a while while Cameron looked on.

:wtf:

2. I laughed out loud when I read that.
Perhaps Justin and Antonio have something they'd like to share with the rest of us.

4. And then Justin exposed Antonio's nipple?
And how did Antonio get cast as Puss? :)

5. Antonio is a tender guy!
I have never held hands with a guy, at the movies or elsewhere.
To me this sounds kinda strange.

7. Hey, I teared up and held hands, too! Damn good film!
Of course, the person sitting next to me was my eleven year old daughter.

Still, it's a great film. I thought I would hate it, but no. I heard others saying the same thing at the end. Quite a few men were wiping tears. It's not just a romantic scene, it has a few emotional elements wrapping up in the ending.
