We get lots of magazines, but I'd say THE NATION, which tells you we're willing to spend a few bucks a year to keep the Old Left alive. Or maybe THE ATLANTIC (my favorite) which says we appreciate quality writing.

2. Utne Reader
I've lapsed every other subscription, but I always keep that one because it is like the Reader's Digest of the left. There's a little bit of everything in each issue.

Harper's is my second favorite.

Edited on Thu May-20-04 12:00 AM by DBoon
It's still 1968. I'm still a 12 year old boy.

On Edit: In case you get the wrong idea, I was just being funny. No I do not really subscribe to Mad Magazine. I do get The Nation, though.

15. International Male
Really, it's more of a catalog for ordering swimsuits, underwear and other male attire...sort of a Gay GQ without the pesky articles.

And, I love the models!

17. PC World,, Wired, and Modern Drummer
I got PC World and Wired on frequent flier miles.

I despise PC World for how repetetive and boring it is, and I don't quite get Wired.

But Modern Drummer, I think that speaks volumes about me. :)
