Tanning creams
If you're not into tanning, go away. I don't need the lectures. I've resigned myself to dying from skin cancer from childhood exposure.

I've got an appointment at the tanning place this afternoon but can't afford their cream. They say they will let me use my cream if it's "approved".

I've got a tube of Supre "Extreme" - "extra strength tan maximizing lotions with melanin", contains:

Vitamin E, (long list of oils)

Unipertan & Melanin allowing skin to achieve a deep, rich, golden tan at the fastest rate possible.

What, exactly, does the Melanin do for me? Is it just something that's going to rub off next time I shower? Is it an artificial tan that will increase cancer risk?

What are the benefits/drawbacks of tanning creams.
