This should piss some people off, but I think it's appropriate.

"If you want to see sacrifice, John McCain ought to visit our young men and women at Walter Reed and Bethesda (two Washington area military hospitals). There's the sacrifice in this country. We're trying to make sure that they have the ability to fight this war, that they have the wherewithal to be able to do it. And at the same time, we have to react to keep this country strong not only militarily but economically. We want to be able to have the flexibility to do it. That's my reply to John McCain."

Check out the threads on FR. They're also attacking McCain. So much for their support of a rare Republican vet who's willing to call Bush on his hypocrisy. Hastert is simply an unprincipled lackey who provides cover for this administration.

3. God, they hate McCain, don't they.

It's funny, I remember in my non-political highschool days, when I just loved all the fighting, I really wanted McCain to win the nomination. Not so much now, but he did appeal.
