Mark Wahlberg is on board!
Appears to be his first political donation, and Kerry got it...

2. laura
my take on lfb is that she is pissed and bitter --

a) nicholson dumped her
b) david kelley fired her from the practice
c) the pink tutu
d) a steady diet of coffee & cocaine & cigarettes & laxatives for 5-8 years
e) pinnacle of career is a cameo in men in black II

i think she is waging a war against hollywood since she can't find work and all her non-employers are liberals

call it her republican revenge -- she's on the warpath now with a vengance -- big bad mama 3

all those constipated freepers will love to drool over her

5. What a guy - and he's kept his Mass. address!
Of course that means Kerry's his hometown guy, but cool anyway!

Marky Mark has gone from a really ripped but obnoxious kid to a pretty cool guy, as far as I can tell.

7. Wahlberg grew up in working class Boston
It does not surprise me that he would support a fellow Massachusetts person. Perhaps he hasn't forgotten where he came from.

16. Just what we need
From his biography

"Mark Wahlberg is walking testimony to the power of the Hollywood publicity machine. He coasted to the top thanks to it, and almost crashed and burned because of it. His career has been a roller-coaster ride of ups and downs, out of which he has emerged into calm waters (at least for now...) Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg was born in the poor working class district of Boston known as Dorchester. He was born on June 5th, 1971; the youngest of nine children. The large Wahlberg brood didn't have a lot growing up, especially after his parents divorced when he was eleven. The kids crammed into a three bedroom apartment, none of them having very much privacy. After the divorce, Mark's mother has said that she became very self-absorbed with her own problems. She blames herself for her son's subsequent problems and delinquency. Wahlberg dropped out of high school at age 14 to pursue a life of petty crime and drugs. He'd spend his days scamming and stealing, working on the odd drug deal before treating himself to the substances himself. The young man also had a violent streak - one which was often aimed at minorities. At age 16, he was convicted of assault against two Vietnamese men after he had tried to rob them. Wahlberg had previously been in trouble for bothering young black children, taunting them with racist remarks and epithets."

But who cares about trivial personality defects like being a violent felon and a racist? He looks good with his shirt off and he has lots of money so he must be a good guy.

18. I think that because he and George Clooney have done a couple
of films together, they also have a friendship. George Clooney is one of our biggest advocates. He says exactly what he thinks and is a true progressive and not afraid to admit it - Maybe he's influeneced Mark W.
