Computer techies?? Yahoo Messenger question


When I try to use Yahoo Messenger, I can't read anything anyone has written. I type a mesage into the box, and can see what I'm typing, but I can't read what they write to me. ANy ideas?

1. I'd check your settings
Make sure your colors didn't get changed to match your background. Common prank to play on someone else.

Bring up the message screen, like you are going to send someone some text? Is that where I should check?

I can receive files on YIM, but my attempts to send files always fail.

Do I need to update my version of it?
