1. You're alias would make me think you were a Stevie Nicks fan..
...ok, how much did you spend for the ticket, and was it really worth it?

4. For two tickets near the front
Tax and all, somewhere around 243 bucks. And YES, it was SO worth it. :bounce:

Funny thing is, I didn't expect to enjoy it that much. I've been a fan, but not exactly a hard core fan for years. My youngest daughter is a hard core fan, as in she has absolutely everything they've ever done, going back to the Peter Green era.

Their new cd, Say You Will, won me over again, and the show they put on last night was just awesome. They played for close to three hours and Lindsey had me mesmerized all night long.

5. She looked and sounded great
I swear I'm beginning to believe all those witch stories. The woman never seems to age at all.

11. Where did you see that?
Stevie's always supported Dems, and I can't imagine why that would change now.

6. They did Tusk
They also did Sara, Beautiful Child and I Know I'm Not Wrong, which blew me away. Btw, if you like Tusk, you'll love Say You Will. Lindsey is all OVER that one with some great stuff, including one hilarious song that he wrote about his former girlfriend, Anne Heche. }(

Unfortunately, we didn't get close enough for anything like that. Lindsey is also a big Dem supporter, and did I mention that I'm sort of in love with him now? :D

14. Hey newsmeat, maybe I'm mistaken but did you post
something about Stevie singing for the repukes or was last night just a blur from a hard night at work and I just read it wrong. Let me know.

Ok wait, I think it was in that thread about republican babes. Did you see that thread?

18. I saw it, and told that poster he/she was wrong!
The facts speak for themselves, and she has only supported Dems with her wallet.

I think some people on this board wrongly equate anyone who says "I support our troops" with being a rw *-lover.

that's unfortunate, because under that logic, Al Franken would be Rush Limbaugh, Jr.

I've never said that Stevie is a :puke:

:-)

That thread does exist. I knew I saw it some where.

I didn't accuse you of calling Stevie a repuke. I just thought I saw it on one of your money posts about celebs that donate money and all. You've had a lot of them the last few days, it's hard to keep track. But I love those threads so keep them coming. Later.
edit: spelling

20. I'll always believe that she was only in FM because of John
I've heard, but I have no proof, that they've turned her mic off during certain songs in concert because she's so horrible at harmonizing.

22. Depends on what you consider the classic members
We talking Peter Green era, the infamous Bob Welch era, or the Lindsey/Stevie era? So many eras, narrow it down for me? :)

24. The line-up that had all those hit singles between 1975 and 1982.
Edited on Fri May-21-04 09:45 PM by NightTrain
I'm talking Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, and whoever else was in the group during that seven-year span. I'm too pooped to remember all their names right now.

John, Mick, Stevie and Lindsey were all there and looked and sounded great. Especially Lindsey, he did some guitar solos that left me speechless. The man ROCKS :bounce:

27. The Peter Green-era Mac was my favorite version of the band.
I was also into the Bob Welch days. My boyfriend (at the time) and I were listening to a lot of the old Mac, then the 'new version' of the band came to the Boston Garden, the Buckingham-Nicks version. We hadn't heard the band yet and were pretty surprised at the show. We were wanting to hear the Mac tunes we knew, and this was a totally different band. I did end up liking that band; loved Stevie Nicks' voice and her look, wanted to look like her. LOL But I still prefer the older versions of the band.

BTW, Fleetwood Mac was the opening band at that show.

30. I liked the Peter Green era as well
But I can't say I liked the Bob Welch era all that much. I like what they're doing right now, because it focuses not as much on all the Rumours stuff and has more variety. I've always loved Lindsey's stuff and you can really see his influence on Say You Will. Come and Peacekeeper are AWESOME songs.

You lucky dog! I've been a fan since the old days. I think my favorite song is either Seven Wonders or Gold Dust Woman.

31. Both great songs
I have so many favorites it's hard to list them all, but if I had to choose my favorite "Stevie" songs from FM, it would have to be Crystal or Silver Springs.

35. I've heard about it, but haven't seen it anywhere around here
Lots of reviews out there and apparently it's won a few awards as well. Maybe one day I'll move to a cool place where I can see something other than the latest action or Adam Sandler movie :(
