Was the First 15 Minutes of SuperTroopers the funniest stuff in ages?

I hadn't seen this movie, or heard of Broken Lizard until recently.

So I popped this flick in and DAMN if that wasn't the funniest beginning to a movie I've seen in a long while...I waas unable to breathe it was so LOL funny.

Lemme put it this way - it's up there with the first 15-20 minutes of Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke. Yes, THAT funny...

3. It's a shame Broken Lizard is doing so poorly

Everyone I know loved Super Troopers, but it only pulled in 18 million at the box office. Club Dread, which wasn't that bad, did even worse, only pulling in 4 million before they yanked it from the theaters. I hope they have the breakout success they deserve soon, before they end up splitting up.

And you are absolutely correct - the first 15 minutes EASILY carries the rest of the movie.
