Either through experimentation or otherwise.

1. Teased, played etc, etc, etc
but never could bring myself to do the nasty, even though I had ample opportunity with several very intelligent and attractive women. Guess it just wasn't meant to be.

4. Were you ever curious about
what it would be like? I'm straight, but there was a time in my life (during college, actually) when I was really curious about what it would be like to be with a woman.

9. Oh, sure, I tried to be straight until I was in my mid-twenties....

I wanted to. Its just when offered the chance, I kept backing away. Offered the choice to date women, or hang with straight guys and drink (and hope!), I chose to hang with the guys.

But, I really wanted to be able to say I'd done "it" at least once. My mind was willing, but my body refused to cooperate (even when I was a 17 year old horndog). And when a 17 year old boy can't get excited by a 15 year old girl, something is VERY, VERY wrong

Eventually, I realized, I was wasting both my time and the woman's.

12. Reason no. five thousand
eight hundred fifty two why homosexuality is NOT a "lifestyle choice!" I always ask people when they "chose" and/or "decided" to be hetero. They splutter and stammer and finally say they have no idea, they just "were" and knew they were. EXACTLY!, I'd say, and that really got them.

17. Damn straight!
Trust me, wanting to be straight won't make you straight. It won't even guarantee you can FORCE yourself to respond.

If your heart isn't in it, and your brain doesn't send the appropriate signals, you're left looking like a 17 year old fool. Been there, done that.

8. Having sex the way you were meant to or AGAINST the way you were
meant to: THAT'S the "lifestyle choice." Not the orientation.

Happy pissiness -- enjoy yourself! :bounce: :D

11. Actually, the one time I 'did it' with a female....
I couldn't get away from her. I even pretended to pass out but she just rolled me over, climbed on top and rode me like she was Annie Oakley.
Oh, the horrors...I'm going to have nightmares tonight. I still can't watch westerns.

3. I"m not gay, but I've
always been curious about that myself! One gay friend says he has been with a woman a couple of times, and a lesbian friends says she'll never, ever, ever EVER even consider being with a man, not even once. I guess it just depends on the person.

5. No.
I'm too used to what men have to offer these days, even if I will never know what it's like to be with a woman.

Oh well.

6. No. I am a Gold Medal Dyke.
I had opportunities, before I knew who I was (and way before I came out), but always got to a point where I realized that to continue would do me some kind of harm.

Yicky, and also scary----the fear of pregnancy was a new twist. No thanks, not for this career lesbian.

15. Almost...
a straight friend of mine talked me into trying "it" with his wife and him. It really, really didn't work. Thank goodness, we remained friends. This was WAY back in the early 70's, when almost everyone was experimenting. I guess I was lucky to get past it and move on.
