My wife and 4 kids and I are going to a movie this afternoon...

...an infrequent occurance. I want us all to go to see Life of Brian. She wants us all to go to a tri-plex where each of us can choose between Shreck 2, Troy, and Van Helsing with each of us going to the movie of our choice. the kids are all boys, 2 age 14 and 2 age 12. what would you advise?

1. Troy.. in my opinion..

Was a good movie, but rather disappointing. It's long and drawn out and rather slow to get to the point. (Of course I didn't mind paying the 8 bucks to see Brad Pitt). I haven't seen Van Helsing, but if I had to choose between the two, I would go for Van Helsing. But like I said, this is just my opinion.

...and also the fact that that would be the only movie that all six of us would be attending. Maybe I should just go to Van Helsing and drool over Kate Beckinsale. Yeah my wife would love that. By the way I am sure it is clever but I didn't see the Hulk and I don't think it is likely I am going to end my anti-green prejudice today. I'm looking for some support here folks!
