3. Nope. Living in the Styx. Can't get DSL, cable, NUTHIN'.
Best dialup connection gives us 49.2.

12. Yes, semi-rural. Southern Maryland. Remember hearing two years ago
about an F5 tornado that wiped out La Plata, MD? We were about 4 miles as the crow flies from that tornado's path.

7. My connection here in Mexico...
runs tops at 44k. Downloading files start at around 28k then drops as low as 800 bytes in about 30 seconds. I usually stop the download and try again for a faster rate.

I download auido books of over one gig. Takes me days. Best I can do is 5.3 K/s.

.. I hop you are on a flatrate, or something? Also, the size seems a bit wild - I had one of the Harry Potter books as an mp3 once, and it wasn't more than 200 MB (I think).

I think I'll refrain from mention that I'm fortunate enough to have DSL at 512/256, flatrate.. Oh wait... Nevermind :evilgrin:
