3. Can you tell me something about Larouche?
I went to his website:
http://www.larouchepub.com/eirtoc/2004/eirtoc_3120.html

and there seems to be some interesting articles, particularly on economics and the neocons, the sort of stuff most people here would be interested in. But this is the second time I have heard people refer to him like the plague. What's the story? There's obviously some background that I am not aware of.

4. Holocaust Denier and all-around nut job
:puke:

With cult-like followers all around the world.

As to the quality of his articles and predictions: Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

5. LaRouche is a political parasite
He's spent his lifetime attaching himself to political movements and attempting to destroy them. His theories mix intellectual snobbery with bizarre conspiracy theories (like Queen Elizabeth being the chief sponsor of the international drug trade.) His zombie-like followers have been known to use physical violence against opponents. In a word, he is scum.

7. Lyndon LaRouche makes Dick Cheney look like a commie pinko...
in comparison.

LaRouche is WAY to the right on the political spectrum.

13. That's a little dishonest.
He's not far to the right. He's just crazy.

11. I cannot believe that Ed Asner does not know
Lyndon LaRouche is a big antisemite. I recall that in the early 1990s, the LaRouchies would stand at the corner of Manchester and Brentwood in suburban St Louis passing out their "literature." Most of it consisted of blaming the Queen of England and the ADL for the drug trade.

Oy vey!

14. As bizarre as LaRouche is, he's actually sounding normal these days
And maybe those who don't know his past are attracted to that. Maybe for some reason Asner hasn't been exposed to him before now.
