32. that's not hostility it's self preservation
there's GOOD reason not to want to be confused with an American whilst OS - at the top of the scale (and not hugely likely) there's the getting blown up thing - the more likely scenario is that upon seeing the maple leaf people wont avoid you quite so much and you can ask for directions!
