A toast to Bernard, the Low-Expectations Spider...
So I walk out onto my lawn (that still needs a good trim) and found a beautiful spiderweb, spun horizontally across the tips of the blades of grass. In the center was a little spider I have named Bernard.

Seems like an odd place to spin a web, although I guess he'd pick up the little no-see-ums rising from the grass first thing in the evening. :)

:toast: to Bernie! Go get 'em, tiger! :D

1. I hope that you're flexible enough in this
to consider changing his name to Bernadette.

The long-lived, web-spinning arachnids are usually the females. :hi:

8. Wasn't she the greatest witch?
I love that show!

To this day, when I see any of those actors, I always ID them as "the baker's wife" (Joanna Gleason), etc.
