I got AJA back from ACL surgery & LOTR on dvd. i'm in for the weekend

my sweet gal, a kuvasz named Aja is now back from a 4 week stay at the vet. she had ruptured her ACL and had to have it reconstructed.

i could have had her put down, but loyalty cuts both ways.

i fenced off a part of the yard so the other 5 dogs can't stir her up and now i have several days where i am playing nanny to a 120 pound dog.

i bought ROTK last night and i am set to watch the whole trilogy for the weekend with Aja by my side.

gosh, i have not watched any of the films in a long time. i had forgotten how beautiful the films are.

Aja is still going to limp for several weeks but she was so happy to see me that she peed as soon as she saw me.

....time to watch some hobbits!

May Aja have s peedy recovery and may the vet bills soon evaporate.
