2. reminds me of a sign my school bus passed every day
in a neighboring town a couple decades ago. It read. . ."Rabbits for pets and meat." In as much as I tried my best to avert my eyes and refrain from reading the sign on a daily basis, something kept drawing my eyes to the sign in total puzzlement.

I remembered my elder sister's pet Dutch rabbits who were all named after Greek gods and goddesses and how they were always friendly and funny in my much younger years.

I became a vegetarian shortly thereafter. Maybe the sign had an unintended positive effect after all.

4. They showed something very similar to that in Roger and Me
There was a woman who raised rabbits for pets or meat, because that was substantially supplementing her income after GM left Flint MI
